HIBERNATION - asleep in self
HIGH BEAR NATION - collective dream
sleeping in the Cave of Self
lives the High Bear Nation
|
For many cultures, the bear is the symbol or totem of meditation. The ‘bear in the cave’ dreams, remembers the
year that was, creates the year that will be. Such dreams are tribal. They belong to the High Bear Nation.
Crazy Horse dreamed and went into the world where there is nothing but the spirits of all things. That is the real world
beyond this one, and everything we see here is something like a shadow from that world. - Black Elk Speaks
The soul hath need of prophet and redeemer;
Her outstretched wings against her prisoning bars
She waitts for truth, and truth is with the dreamer
Persistent as the myriad light of stars
- Florence Earl Coates, Dream the Great Dream
The imagination may be compared to Adam’s dream; he awoke and found it truth. - Keats
Without this play with fantasy, no creative work has ever yet come to birth. - Jung
Imaginary gardens with real toads in them. - Marianne Moore.
All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream. - Poe
If you have a dream, begin it!
The moment you begin has genius in it!
- Goethe
Have you entered the cave of self to seek the High Bear Nation? Is it time to dream? Or is it time to wake?
