19. ATONE - at one A TONE - primal sound current CHORUS - sing to know others CORE, US - sing to know self

In Angelish, A is creAtion, Alpha, Aleph, All-Father - that which is and then becomes becomes; B comes after A. The A tone is the primal sound current, the original vibration, the first resonance of existence. In our lives, the A tone is what sets our feet flying in the dance; or, equally, awes us into silence and wonder. It is the first peal of thunder; the alarm clock which starts my day; the bell which goes off in my head with some new idea. But it is also the last sigh of the eventing wind as activity gives way to night. In the inner self, or core of us chorus, it is the awareness of my unique voice, my perfect aloneness, but also of my oneness with all that is.

When I do not hear the A tone, when I am lost in the echoes of other shoutings. - or, in the inner city or at war, in other’s shootings; when my experience is not truly my own, then I am lost in noise no I’s; no sense of self. To come back into harmony, I must atone A tone for my mistakes miss takes; taking or taking on what does not belong to me. Only then can I again hear my true song; become both alone, and all one with others.

The ‘Central Bank of Being’ sends us out a loan alone. Our job in living is to repay that loan to life - and give back more than we took out. We do so with our interest – we pay back to life by being interested in all that surrounds us. We give more than we took. This is a successful suck-cease, full life.

In Angelish, the UNIVERSE is the U-’N’-I-VERSE you-and-I-verse. The harmony of singing together, with just enough dissonance – dissent - to recognize our own voice.
